Araştırma sonucunda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin büyük bir bölümünün görev yaptıkları okulda özel olarak destek eğitim odası olmadığı, öğrencilere en fazla matematik ve Türkçe derslerinden destek eğitim verildiği, öğretmenlerin büyük bölümünün öğretim sürecinde anlatım yöntemini kullandığı ve öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğunun mevzuata yeterince hâkim olmadıkları sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma çalışmalarında kullanılan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmış, veriler yüz yüze görüşmeler yoluyla toplanmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durum çalışması deseni kapsamında yürütülmüştür. Araştırma, destek eğitim odası uygulaması yapılan okullarda gerçekleştirilmiş olup, destek eğitim odasında destek eğitimi veren 25 sınıf öğretmeni ve destek eğitim odası uygulamasından yararlanan 25 öğrenci velisinin katılımıyla yürütülmüştür. The study found that there is a significant weakness in including the metacognitive and higher-order thinking skills in the national standards. The present study provided a critical analysis of the Jordanian national standards of gifted and talented students. However, there is still a significant shortage in identifying the needs of elementary stage talented students, especially in Jordan. Taking care of gifted and talented students and appreciating them in a way that suits their abilities is an imperative and important strategy of upbringing strategies at the global level, as the educational institutions seek to reach all talented students with its services and provide them with appropriate care according to the best international standards. The total of the scale attributed to the gender variable and there is no statistical significance difference at the level of 0.05 in the school institution, and the school administration for gifted students attributed to the gender. The results showed that there is a statistical significance difference at the level of 0.05 in the degree of awareness of the importance of the educational environment for gifted students, and the results showed also that there is a statistical significant difference at the level of significance (α = 0.05) for the gifted students in the facilities in the school. The results of the study explained that the assessment of the learning environment of gifted students at the talented resource rooms in Jordan according to international standards as a whole including, the school administration, facilities in the school, and the school institution, was at a high level. The sample of the study consisted of (92) gifted students in resource rooms in Jordan and the purposive method was chosen. The study used a descriptive approach to achieve its purpose. The study aimed to identify the assessment of learning environment of gifted students at resource rooms in Jordan.
